Lets learn to fly paraglider in Rio

The course consists of :-
- Two instructional tandem flights.
- Theoretical lessons
- Practical lessons

Description of the Course :-

Part one :-
1) Introduction to the equipment, ground handling and wing inflation.
2) First tandem flight and familiarization with flight conditions.
3) Small hill launch training, including forward and reverse launch techniques
4) Once the student has mastered the different forms of launch, he/she would start taking off at nearly ground level and progressively increasing the height to about 30 meters high launch.

Part two :-
Landing techniques training (starting at hill of 30meters high and again progressing to 80 meters). Instructors are in radio contact with the student at all times.

Part three :-
Tack off and flight from a 130 meters high hill, including navigation , and flight plan instruction. Radio contact at all times.

Part four :-
1) Second tandem flight, with student piloting, including soaring,thermals,rotors and maneuvers.
2) First mountain flight ( radio contact at all times)
3) Approach training and emergency maneuvers ( Ears,use of the accelerator and asymmetric collapses)

Theoretical lessons are conducted with the aid of videos .
Students also receive a CD Rom with further instruction on Metrology and atmospheric study to compliment their instruction during their two tandem flights.

Price of the course :- R$ 1500,00 ( divided in to two equal installments)
Included is the two tandem flight, studying material and literature, and all equipment used till the first solo flight.

OBS: Students should be buying their own equipment by this phase.

12 years flying experience, and four years instruction experience.
More than 50 students graduated in Rio and other states ( e.g.. Cuiaba MT )
and a few non Brazilians as well.
